Cenex BBQ

Saturday Cenex had their annual BBQ Matt got a picture of my parents in the line

they had some fun things going on for the first time they had a couple skydivers land right where we were they had just a small area to land and they both made it. I wish the girls had been there to see it. They were at the campground in Fort Casey with Oma and Opa so they missed it this year.

Dutch Hot Tub

Here is Matt and Connor testing out the bathtub Matt got from work we didn't end up using it in our house when we had it built so he found a use for it, we had these wheels from a shelving unit from Costco that we had left over Matt attached them to the bath

Matt had named it his Dutch hot tub but I think its just very redneck well either way Connor has been enjoying it with all the hot days recently

Matt fixed it so it doesn't drain so we can fill it to the top otherwise it didn't fill up high enough

hey it might be really redneck to have a bathtub outside but hey if your kids are super dirty they can take their bath outside and ya we have hot water outside too well we have to I'm married to a plumber;)

Fairy House

The kids wanted to make their own Fairy House since making one at the park they have a fort inside the grapes they had lots of fun

Haileys house needed a pet she found a slug and put him inside (she named it sluggy) they woke up the next day wondering where he went.

we helped the kids make clothespin dolls to live in the fairy house

Hailey got up the next morning and made a few more dolls by herself and some little sea creatures with shells and glass bobbles

cute little guys, Hailey is very creative she used the hot glue gun and didn't burn herself I think she'll be an artist.

Hillcrest Park Free Day for Kids

Last Saturday we took the kids to the free kid day at Hillcrest park

it was a very hot day we parked right next to a kid who had a lemonade stand

after we took the kids to Dairy Delight we never brought them there before

Our Crafty Saturday

Our kids have been going to Home Depot free craft Saturday for the last month Matt was working to I had to take the kids this time.they have it every Saturday morning from 9-noon and have a brand new craft the first week of the month the other weeks they have the crafts they've done previous weeks, since I just found out about them they were new to my kids. That same Saturday Michael's was doing a free craft also so I took the kids there right after they made tote bags using sticky stencils and fabric paint. My kids really love crafts and better for me to have them make the mess somewhere else.
